Penn College tied for 11th place in a 14-team field after rounds of 305-303—608 in The Gauntlet at Bucknell Golf Club on Sunday and Monday.

The Wildcats began the competition on Sunday with a score of 305, placing them tied for 12th. They closed with a score of 303, resulting in a total of 608 on the par-70, 6,235-yard course.

Individually for Penn College, Peyton Mussina shot rounds of 72-70—142 and tied for ninth. Will Orwig recorded scores of 73-78—151 and tied for 38th. Gunner Redmond posted rounds of 75-77—152 and tied for 41st. Matthew Capoferri shot an overall score of 85-78—163 and tied for 66th, while Jordan Lestochi finished with scores of 93-81—174 and placed 75th. Only the lowest four scores count toward the team total.

Gettysburg College secured the top team honor by rallying from a first-day score of 289 to close with a final round of 279—568. Following Gettysburg were Penn State Altoona (289-287—576), Rensselaer Poly (291-288—579), York College (290-293—583), Franklin and Marshall (284-300—584), Drew (292-297—589), McDaniel (289-302—591), Allegheny College (296-296—592), Dickinson (299-299—598), Westminster (297-305—602), Penn College/Washington and Jefferson (305-303 each —608 each), Goucher College (303-312 —615) and Stevens Institute of Technology (305–320 —625).

Dickinson's Collin McMahon-Shea medaled with individual scores of 65–70 —135.

Penn College will next host the Northeast Elite at Williamsport Country Club at 10 a.m. on September 28–29.
