Carolyn McKeon Head Women's Volleyball Coach | Penn College Wildcats
Penn College fell to Penn State Greater Allegheny in a four-set battle on Tuesday night in nonconference women's volleyball action. The Wildcats dropped to 1-6 on the season while the Lions moved to 2-3.
Penn State Greater Allegheny earned set victories of 25-19, 25-23, and 25-18. Penn College won set three, 25-22, to extend the match before the Lions closed it out in the fourth.
Nevaeh Ward and Hailey DeBrody were prominent on the court as Ward finished with a team-high 14 kills, seven total blocks, and nine digs. DeBrody added five kills, a team-best 15 digs, and five total blocks. Kathryn Burnett dished out 24 assists and Jo Hess posted 13 digs on the night.
Penn College wraps up its season-opening road trip at the John Jay Tri-Match on Friday to play Old Westbury and the Bloodhounds at 5 p.m., and 7 p.m.
