Tyler Mensch Head Men's Soccer Coach | Penn College Wildcats

Penn College netted a goal in both halves to defeat Keuka College, 2-0, in a nonconference men's soccer match on Saturday. The Wildcats improved their record to 1-2, while the Wolves fell to 0-2.

Penn College took a 1-0 lead when Peyton Jones collected the rebound off Tommy DeGeyter's saved shot and sent the ball into the net in the 34th minute. Penn College had two more shots on target in the half, but attempts from Mason Kostick and Jones were stopped.

DeGeyter extended the lead to 2-0 in the 57th minute with a shot from the 18-yard line to the left corner.

Penn College outshot Keuka, 20-10 (7-5 on-goal), and held a 6-3 advantage in corner kicks. Cole Catherman secured the win with five saves.

Penn College will return to action on Tuesday at 7 p.m., hosting Penn State Schuylkill.
