Tyler Mensch Head Men's Soccer Coach | Penn College Wildcats

Penn College dropped a 1-0 decision to King's College in a nonconference men's soccer match on Sunday. The Wildcats fell to 0-2, while the Monarchs improved to 1-0.

King's took an early lead with a tally in the 17th minute and prevented Penn College from a shot on frame in the first half.

The Wildcats had their lone shot on goal in the 78th minute when Logan Stapleton's attempt was stopped.

King's outshot Penn College, 15-4 (11-1 on goal), and held a 5-4 edge on corner kicks. Cole Catherman stopped 10 shots in goal for the Wildcats.

Penn College returns to action Saturday at 1 p.m. in its home opener against Keuka College.
