Lock Haven University Athletics issued the following announcement on June 16.
The LHU softball team has announced the signing of five new Bald Eagles as part of the 2022 recruiting class.
The Lock Haven University softball team has announced its 2022 recruiting class. The new class features five incoming freshman all of whom have signed a National Letter of Intent, have been accepted and/or have enrolled at Lock Haven University.
"We are extremely excited to welcome Maci, Allyson, Emma, Kerri and Keiva to campus this upcoming fall," said head coach Kelly Shannon. "All five of these student-athletes come from competitive softball programs, and will make an immediate impact to help keep the future of LHU Softball bright."
Lock Haven capped the 2022 season on a high note, winning eight out of its final 11 games to climb to 19-18 on the year. With the injection of a talented new class, the Bald Eagles will look to carry that momentum into 2023 and make a return trip to the Pennsylvania State Athletic Conference (PSAC) playoffs for the first time since claiming the conference crown back in 2019.
