Lycoming Valley Middle School issued the following announcement on June 9.
As the Williamsport Area School District eyes the end of another school term, it pledged its farewell to 35 retirees.
In a video tribute, administrators and supervisors said goodbye to this year's class of retirees, who, together, represent a combined 780 years of experience.
Those retiring this year:
- Debbie Antonetti-Hill, teacher, Williamsport Area High School, 23 years
- Allan Bartlett, assistant supervisor of maintenance and facilities, 37 years
- Denise Bell, food service worker, 15 years
- Steve Bennett, custodian, 30 years
- Dr. Susan Bigger, assistant superintendent, 11 years
- Karen Buchheit, health room technician, 22 years
- Sherri Buckwalter, teacher, Lycoming Valley Intermediate School, 32 years
- Illene Butler, classroom aide, Williamsport Area Middle School, 21 years
- Winifred Campbell, classroom aide, Williamsport Area High School, 35 years
