Women’s Wrestling announces 2022 recruiting class

Ff

Lock Haven University Athletics issued the following announcement on June 10.

The LHU women’s wrestling team welcomes four new student-athletes to Mat-Town U.S.A. ahead of the 2022-23 season.

The Lock Haven University women's wrestling team has announced its 2022 recruiting class. The Haven welcomes four new freshmen to the program all of whom have signed a National Letter of Intent, have been accepted and/or have enrolled at Lock Haven University.

"We are very excited these ladies have decided to further their academic and athletic careers at Lock Haven University," said head coach Ronnie Perry. "The talent they bring will enhance the solid foundation set by our team last year in the program's first year of competition. I am excited to help them develop as athletes and students as they transition from high school to the collegiate level. This class will add a great mix of depth and talent to our program."

In the 2021-22 season, the Bald Eagles first official year of competition, Coach Perry and LHU soared to a 6-2 overall record and sent five student-athletes to the National Collegiate Women's Wrestling Championship (NCWWC) National Championships. With the addition of another talented class, the Bald Eagles will look to soar to even higher heights in 2022-23.
