Lock Haven University of Pennsylvania issued the following announcement on May 10.

Two members of Lock Haven EMS and a member of Goodwill Hose EMS were on hand Thursday during the Clinton County Board of Commissioners recent meeting as the board proclaimed May 15 through May 21 Emergency Medical Services Week. "The members of emergency medical services teams, whether career or volunteer, engage in thousands of hours of specialized training and continuing education to enhance their lifesaving skills," the proclamation reads. "It is appropriate to recognize the value and the accomplishments of emergency medical services providers by designating Emergency Medical Services Week."
