Penn College's men's lacrosse team secured a 20-10 victory over Guilford in nonconference play on Saturday, extending their winning streak to four games. This result improved the Wildcats' record to 4-2 while dropping the Quakers to 2-4.

The Wildcats established an early lead with Owen Kupsey scoring two goals in quick succession, assisted by Elliot Dotson. Dotson then added a goal himself, followed by scores from Harrison Schlachta and Jake Small, resulting in a 5-0 lead by the end of the first quarter.

Guilford managed to outscore Penn College 4-3 in the second quarter, reducing the deficit to 8-5 at halftime. However, a strong second half performance by Penn College proved insurmountable for Guilford. Kupsey completed his hat-trick and quickly added another goal shortly after. Dotson also scored multiple times, contributing significantly to the team's success.

Dotson led with seven points from five goals and two assists. Kupsey scored four goals, and Will Ehret added three more, giving the Wildcats three players with hat-tricks. Mason Nester forced three turnovers while Connor Gentile forced two turnovers and collected two ground balls. Ryan Twist recorded four saves during the game.

Overall, Penn College outshot Guilford 52-33 and won 28 of 33 faceoffs.

The Wildcats will next face Shenandoah on Wednesday at 4 p.m.
