Penn Athletics announces fan promotion schedule for men's basketball season

Penn Athletics has released the schedule for fan promotions during the 2024-25 men's basketball season. Tickets, including season, mini-plan, and single-game options, are now available.

The season opens on November 7 with a game against UMES at 7 p.m. Students attending will have priority access to Big 5 Classic tickets and registration for student bus information. A Toys for Tots collection will also begin.

On November 15, Penn faces Saint Joseph's at 8 p.m. This event is part of a Big 5 Doubleheader and includes student tailgating in the 1978-79 Atrium with food and games. The Quaker Notes will perform the national anthem.

From November 29 to December 1, Penn hosts Navy, Maine, and Elon as part of the Cathedral Classic Invitational. Each game will feature a Toys for Tots collection.

December's highlights include the Big 5 Classic at Wells Fargo Center on December 7 with free student tickets and t-shirts. Community Day/Team IMPACT occurs on December 20 against Rider at 6 p.m., offering free tickets to West Philadelphia community groups and non-profits. Team IMPACT player Justus Roland will be honored.

January brings several themed events: a Blue Out Game against Cornell on January 18 featuring a student tailgate; Alumni Day on January 25 versus Columbia where past Ivy League championship teams will be recognized; Coaches vs. Cancer Game against Brown on January 31 supporting cancer research.

February events include Hoops for Troops Military Appreciation Game against Yale on February 1 in partnership with VA Hospital and VetTix; Equality & Inclusion Night Game/Black Out Game against Princeton on February 7 highlighting campus groups dedicated to equality; Professor Appreciation Day versus Dartmouth on February 21 where invited professors are honored courtside; Senior Day against Harvard on February 22 celebrating graduating seniors from various teams.
