Tyler Mensch Head Men's Soccer Coach | Penn College Wildcats

Penn College and Lancaster Bible College ended their United East men's soccer match in a 1-1 draw on Saturday. The game, held in Lancaster, Pennsylvania, saw the Wildcats improve their record to 3-1-1 in the United East and 9-4-2 overall. Meanwhile, the Chargers' record moved to 2-3-1 in the conference and 4-8-2 overall.

Logan Stapleton scored his third goal of the season for Penn College, giving them a 1-0 lead in the 19th minute. Justin Potts contributed by making three saves during the first half to maintain this lead.

In the second half, Cooper Smith had an opportunity to extend Penn College's lead but was unable to score when his shot was blocked in the 51st minute. Lancaster Bible then managed to equalize with a goal in the 79th minute.

Throughout the match, Lancaster Bible outshot Penn College with a total of ten shots compared to nine from Penn College. They also had an advantage on corner kicks with eight compared to two from Penn College. Potts concluded the game with four saves for the Wildcats.

The Wildcats are scheduled to play again on Tuesday.
