Penn College's women's soccer team played to a scoreless draw against Wilson in a nonconference match held at UPMC Field on Wednesday. The result leaves the Wildcats with a record of 0-0-3, while the Phoenix earned their first point of the season, now standing at 0-2-1.

During the match, Penn College successfully defended two shots on goal in the first half but failed to produce any offensive shots on target. In the second half, they managed three attempts on goal. Sara Darlington had two shots in the 46th and 69th minutes, and BillieGean Hennessy took a shot in the 55th minute; however, all were saved by Wilson's defense.

Wilson outshot Penn College with a total of 16 attempts compared to Penn College's 11. Despite this, Penn College had an advantage in corner kicks with five compared to Wilson's four.

Nicole Lichtinger was notable for her performance as she recorded seven saves for Penn College.

The Wildcats are scheduled to play again on Saturday at Elmira, with kickoff set for 1 p.m.
