The National Association of Basketball Coaches (NABC) has released the list of recipients for the 2023-24 NABC Team Academic Excellence Awards and NABC Honors Court. These awards highlight significant academic achievements among men's college basketball teams and their student-athletes.

The Team Academic Excellence Awards are given to men's basketball programs that achieved a team GPA of 3.0 or higher during the 2023-24 academic year. The Honors Court recognizes junior, senior, and graduate student players who maintained a cumulative GPA of at least 3.2 over the same period. The awards encompass honorees from all divisions within college basketball.

This year, Penn University saw three of its student-athletes named to the NABC Honors Court: recent graduates Colin Chambers, Andrew Laczkowski, and Clark Slajchert. Additionally, Penn was one of five Ivy League institutions recognized with the Team Academic Excellence Award, joining Columbia, Harvard, Princeton, and Yale in this honor.

Overall, more than 2,100 players were acknowledged on the NABC Honors Court while over 360 programs received Team Academic Excellence Awards for their performance in the classroom during the 2023-24 academic year.
