Penn College faced two defeats against Lycoming College in nonconference baseball games on Tuesday. The Wildcats' record dropped to 17-18 after losing 2-0 in the first game and 8-0 in the second, while the Warriors improved their standing to 8-25.
In the first game, Lycoming scored two unearned runs in the third inning and restricted Penn College to four hits and seven total base runners. Gabe Reptsik, who pitched for four innings, ended with a record of 1-2. He allowed four hits, achieved two strikeouts, and gave one walk.
During the second game, Lycoming scored four runs in the first inning, three in the second, and one in the fifth. They limited Penn College to six total base runners. Griffin Vollman pitched for one inning and now holds a record of 3-2. He conceded four earned runs on three hits with two walks.
Penn College is set to return to action on Friday at 3 p.m., hosting Penn State Harrisburg.
