Penn College edged out by King's College in close tennis match

David Straub Head Men's and Women's Tennis Coach | Penn College Wildcats

Penn College's men's tennis team narrowly lost to King's College in a nonconference match on Sunday, with a final score of 4-3. The Wildcats' record now stands at 1-2, while King's begins their season at 1-0.

King's secured the win by taking four singles matches. Penn College managed to win two singles matches and two out of three doubles matches, contributing to their three team points.

For the Wildcats, Logan Ogden won his singles match at No. 4 with scores of 6-2, 6-0. Seth Priestman also secured a victory at No. 5 with scores of 6-4, 7-5. In doubles play, the team of Priestman and Matt Williams won at No. 2 with a score of 7-5, and Ogden paired with Jayden Manbeck to win at No. 3 with a score of 6-4.

Next up for Penn College is a home match against Juniata College on Saturday at the Central PA Tennis Center.
