The Pennsylvania State Athletic Conference announced this week’s men and women cross country athletes of the week. Edinboro University swept both awards as Ward Ries and Kylie Anicic were honored.

Ries finished first at the Robert Morris Colonial Invitational with a time of 25:50. He helped the Scots to a second-place overall finish. Edinboro is currently second in the Atlantic Region. Ries won in a field consisting of Division I, II, and III runners.

Anicic was dominant finishing first at the Robert Morris University Colonial Invitational Friday. She finished the race in a time of 22:37, 27 seconds ahead of second place finisher and teammate Kimberly Goerss and a minute ahead of the closest non-Scot.
