Two PSAC Men’s Tennis Programs Headed to NCAA Playoffs

Pennsylvania State Athletic Conference recently issued the following announcement on May 3.

The Edinboro and Mercyhurst Men’s Tennis teams were selected to play in the NCAA Division II Tournament, the association announced Tuesday evening.

Edinboro is the No. 2 seed and will be a regional host. The Fighting Scots will play the winner of Monday’s Bluefield State/Fairmont State matchup on Tuesday, May 10. Edinboro won the 2022 PSAC Men’s Tennis Championship on Saturday, defeating Mercyhurst 4-3. 

The Mercyhurst Lakers are the No. 4 seed and they will play No. 5 West Liberty in the first round on Monday May, 9 at 11 a.m. in Charleston, W.Va. The two teams faced off on March 22 and Mercyhurst won 4-3.
