Pennsylvania State Athletic Conference issued the following announcement on Mar. 1.

The Pennsylvania State Athletic Conference and its 18 member institutions have compiled their guidelines pertaining spectators and masks during outdoor and indoor athletic events. 

Each school has laid out specific guidelines in accordance with their institution’s COVID-19 policies for the 2021-22 academic year.

The following spectator masking policies are subject to change. For any further questions, please visit the institution’s website pertaining to COVID-19 information, which are linked in the table below, or reach out to the institution’s athletic department. Policies below:

Spectator Masking Policies
Bloomsburg University	Masks are now optional at Bloomsburg athletic events.
Cal U	Effective immediately, California, Clarion and Edinboro will no longer require the use of masks inside campus buildings
Clarion	Effective immediately, California, Clarion and Edinboro will no longer require the use of masks inside campus buildings
East Stroudsburg	Masking indoors is optional except for classrooms, clinical and lab settings, healthcare settings, athletic training rooms, and in individual offices at the discretion of the office holder.
Edinboro	•  Effective immediately, California, Clarion and Edinboro will no longer require the use of masks inside campus buildings
Gannon	Masks will no longer be required at indoor or outdoor events.
IUP	Masking optional almost everywhere at IUP starting at noon 3/2
Kutztown	Masks are now optional at Kutztown events.
Lock Haven	Masks will no longer be required at indoor or outdoor events.
Mansfield	Masks will no longer be required at indoor or outdoor events.
Mercyhurst	Millersville mask policy is now optional for both indoors and outdoors.
Millersville	Spectators:  Indoors masking is required. Outdoors there is no requirement.
Pitt-Johnstown	Indoor spectators must wear a mask regardless of vaccination status. Outdoor unvaccinated spectators must wear a mask
Seton Hill	Individuals who have received a CoVID-19 booster or any individuals who are fully vaccinated but yet not eligible for a booster are not required to wear a mask inside the Sullivan Gymnasium in the McKenna Center.   Those without CoVID boosters and those non vaccinated will be required to wear a mask at indoor athletic events.
Shepherd	Masks are optional inside of buildings.  No masks required when outside.
Shippensburg	Beginning March 3rd, Masks are optional at all athletics events.
Slippery Rock	Masks will no longer be required at indoor or outdoor events..
West Chester	Masks REQUIRED inside Athletic Training rooms and other healthcare facilities on campus. Masks OPTIONAL for other indoor campus building spaces. Masks OPTIONAL at all outdoor facilities.
