Senator Dave Argall has announced a series of public meetings across Schuylkill, Carbon, and Luzerne counties, starting with a telephone town hall on February 25 at 5:30 p.m. This event marks the beginning of eight town halls focused on key issues in Pennsylvania's state government, including Governor Shapiro’s proposals to legalize marijuana and tax skill games.

“No question is off limits, whether it’s about the good, the bad, or the very ugly of how our state government is operating,” said Argall. The senator highlighted that past events have attracted thousands who participated by asking questions or responding to straw polls.

Residents can sign up for the call or stream it live through www.senatorargall.com/access-live/. In May, Argall will also host six in-person meetings across his district. These sessions will include participation from state representatives and local officials. The final event in this series will be another telephone town hall scheduled for June.

During these events, participants will engage in straw poll questions on debated topics currently under consideration in Harrisburg. Results from these polls will be shared during the concluding telephone town hall.

“The most important part of my job as a state senator is to listen to the people who elected me and bring their concerns back to Harrisburg,” stated Argall. He expressed eagerness to connect with constituents throughout this initiative aimed at improving state governance.
