Penn College of Technology's men's soccer team secured a 1-0 victory against Penn State Berks on Saturday. The match was part of the United East Conference, and the Wildcats have now won four consecutive games. Their overall record stands at 5-2-1, while they are 1-0 in conference play. Penn State Berks remains winless with an 0-4-2 record.

The game's decisive moment came in the second half when Cooper Smith converted a penalty kick in the 74th minute. This opportunity arose after a foul by Berks inside the box. Smith successfully placed his shot to the right side of the goal, ensuring the Wildcats' lead.

During the match, Penn College attempted several other shots on target. Logan Stapleton's header was saved in the 58th minute, and efforts by Logan Confer and Jacob Everhart in the 72nd minute were also blocked. Earlier in the game, Dylan Daily almost put Penn College ahead with a shot that struck the crossbar in the 35th minute.

In terms of gameplay statistics, Penn College dominated with 22 shots compared to Berks' five and had ten corner kicks against Berks' three. Goalkeeper Cole Catherman played a crucial role by securing a shutout for Penn College.

Looking ahead, Penn College is set to host King's College on Wednesday at 7 p.m.
