Dustin Bartron Head Archery Coach | Penn College Wildcats
Competing over the weekend, April 14-15, at the Adam Wheatcroft Memorial in Harrisonburg, Virginia, Pennsylvania College of Technology archers secured six first-place finishes, two in individual events and four in team categories.
Markus Weber from La Plata, Maryland, achieved an individual first place in the men's compound division. Nathaniel Haefka from Wyalusing took first place in the male bowhunter category.
Tyler Schoonover from Bradford and Sabrina Toplovich from Spring Creek earned second places in men's and women's compound divisions respectively. Tim Lamont from Eldred secured third place in men's compound. Justin Rinehimer from Mountain Top finished third in men's bowhunter, while Rylee Butler from Bellefonte took third place in women's bowhunter.
In team events, Weber, Schoonover, and Lamont claimed first place in men's compound. The team of Heafka, Rinehimer, and John Kleinfelter from Lebanon won first place in men's bowhunter. The mixed compound event saw a victory for Weber and Toplovich. Haefka and Butler topped the mixed bowhunter category.
In other team competitions, Toplovich along with Sapphire Naugle from Jersey Shore and Chelsea Douglass from East Greenville placed second in women's compound.
