Penn College women's soccer team achieved a decisive victory against Clarks Summit with a 9-0 scoreline at UPMC Field on Monday, September 25. This win brings the Wildcats' record to 5-0-5, while the Defenders remain winless at 0-5-0.
Wiley Egan was notable for scoring two goals in the match. Her first goal came just two minutes into the game, followed by another in the 21st minute. Kaelynn Sheetz contributed with a goal in the sixth minute and assisted Piper Minier's goal in the eighth minute.
Additional goals were scored by Hayleigh Klinger and Emma Fox in quick succession before halftime, giving the Wildcats a comfortable lead of 6-0. In the second half, Cassie Johnson, BillieGean Hennessy, and Holly Herbert added to the tally.
The Wildcats took 25 shots during the match, with 15 on target. The Defenders' goalkeeper managed six saves. Seven out of nine goals were assisted, showcasing teamwork from players like Sara Darlington and Mia Clark, who provided two assists each.
