Penn College falls to Penn State Altoona in nonconference tennis match

Penn College men's tennis concluded its nonconference schedule with a loss to Penn State Altoona, ending the match 8-1 on Thursday evening. The Wildcats' record now stands at 0-4, while the Lions improved to 3-3.

In singles play, Kyle Shuler secured the only victory for Penn College at No. 1 singles with scores of 6-4, 6-3. Other notable performances from the Wildcats included Logan Ogden at No. 3 singles, who was defeated 6-3, 6-3; Matt Williams at No. 4 singles, losing narrowly by scores of 6-4, 7-5; Jayden Manbeck at No. 5 singles with a scoreline of 6-4, 6-2; and Connor Pierce at No. 6 singles, who fell short with scores of 6-2, 6-3.

Looking ahead, Penn College will begin United East play on Friday, April 5th against Penn State Harrisburg.
