The Philadelphia Big 5 has announced its postseason awards for the 2023-24 men's basketball season, recognizing University of Pennsylvania senior guard Clark Slajchert with two honors. Slajchert was named a first-team All-Ivy recipient and received the Big 5 Leading Scorer award, formerly known as the Palumbo Award.

In addition to these accolades, Slajchert was also selected as a second-team All-Ivy player this season. He finished second among Ivy League players in scoring average at 18.0 points per game and led his team in this category. His performance included being second in three-point field goals per game with an average of 2.6 and ranking sixth in three-point field goal percentage at .422.

Despite missing eight games due to an injury sustained during Penn's game against Houston on December 30, Slajchert maintained strong statistics throughout the season. He was second on his team with 63 assists, made 37 treys, and tied for second with 26 steals. Notably, he reached the milestone of scoring over 1,000 career points during Penn's penultimate game against Columbia, finishing his collegiate career with a total of 1,030 points—placing him 42nd on the program's all-time scoring list. Achieving this mark in his 73rd collegiate game ties him for the program's 18th fastest alongside Mike Jordan and Ugonna Onyewke.

Having exhausted his Ivy League eligibility, Slajchert plans to use his final year of eligibility as a graduate student at USC.

Slajchert is noted as the fourth player from his program to win what was previously known as the Palumbo Award and marks the third consecutive year a player from his program has received it following Jordan Dingle's wins in both the previous two seasons. The award's first recipient from Penn was Zack Rosen during the 2011-12 season.
