Penn College faced a tough challenge against Penn State Harrisburg, resulting in a 10-0 loss during their United East baseball game on Friday. This defeat brought the Wildcats' conference record to 5-8 and their overall record to 17-19. Meanwhile, the Nittany Lions maintained an undefeated streak in the conference with a 13-0 record and improved to 29-7 overall.
The game saw Penn State Harrisburg taking control early by scoring five runs in the second inning. They added another run in the fourth and secured two more runs each in the sixth and seventh innings.
For Penn College, Dallas Griess stood out by leading his team with three hits. However, pitcher Jonas McGrath experienced difficulties on the mound, bringing his season record to 3-5 after pitching for just 1.1 innings.
