Penn College secured a 10-4 victory over Marywood in a non-conference men's lacrosse match on Wednesday. This win marks the Wildcats' fourth consecutive triumph, improving their season record to 6-5. Meanwhile, the Pacers' record fell to 2-7.
The game began with Harrison Schlachta scoring the first goal at the 10:03 mark in the first quarter. AJ Dotson followed with three consecutive goals, achieving his third-straight hat-trick. Aidan McFalls added his first of three goals at 5:25 in the second quarter, leading to a 5-2 halftime advantage for Penn College.
In the second half, Jesse Weick, Gage McClune, Schlachta, and McFalls contributed goals as the Wildcats' defense limited Marywood to two goals each in both halves.
Dotson concluded the game with seven points from three goals and four assists. He also collected two ground balls and caused one turnover. McFalls provided two assists for five points and tied for a team-high four ground balls with Ian Stambaugh and Austin Callahan. Alex Hammond achieved his fifth win of the season as goalkeeper with 11 saves.
Jake Plokhoy was Marywood's top scorer with two goals.
Looking ahead, Penn College will return to United East play against Rosemont on Saturday at 1 p.m.
