Jordan Williams Head Men's Lacrosse Coach | Penn College Wildcats
Penn College's lacrosse team has been recognized with six selections to the United East all-conference lacrosse team, as announced by the league on Tuesday. Among those honored are junior Mason Nester from Schwenksville, Pa., sophomore Harrison Schlachta from Collegeville, Pa., and freshman Aidan McFalls from Gilbertsville, Pa., who received first-team honors. Junior Austin Callahan from Beaver Dams, N.Y., sophomore AJ Dotson from Wilmington, Del., and freshman Will Ehret from Basking Ridge, N.J., were named to the second team.
Aidan McFalls also earned the title of United East Rookie of the Year. He participated in 17 games for the Wildcats, leading his team with 48 goals and ranking third in the conference. Additionally, he was fifth in assists with 27. His performance included an average of 4.41 points per game while collecting 25 ground balls and causing nine turnovers.
Harrison Schlachta contributed significantly by accumulating 41 points through 31 goals and ten assists over all 19 games. He also collected 21 ground balls and caused two turnovers.
Mason Nester secured his third all-conference recognition after leading his team's defense with 40 ground balls and causing 19 turnovers across all 19 matches, starting in 18 of them.
AJ Dotson ranked fourth in the league for goals with a total of 43 and second for assists at 32. He concluded the season tied with McFalls for most points in the conference at a total of 75.
Will Ehret demonstrated versatility in midfield by achieving a total of 27 points through thirteen goals and fourteen assists while participating in all nineteen games. He also gathered seven ground balls and caused two turnovers.
Austin Callahan was noted for his defensive capabilities as he forced eleven turnovers and collected twenty-two ground balls during fifteen games where he started seven times.
