Penn College men's lacrosse team delivered a decisive victory against Bryn Athyn, winning 19-3 in a United East conference match on Saturday. This win ended a two-game losing streak for the Wildcats, who now hold a 4-1 record in conference play and an overall record of 8-7. The Lions fell to 0-3 in the conference and are 2-6 overall.
The game began with an early goal from Harrison Schlacta, assisted by Will Ehret, in the third minute. Bryn Athyn equalized six minutes later, but AJ Dotson and Aidan McFalls quickly restored Penn College's lead to 3-1 by the end of the first quarter.
Devin Page initiated a four-goal streak for the Wildcats in the second quarter. Joey Rebilas scored unassisted before halftime, extending Penn College's lead to 9-3.
In the second half, Penn College continued their offensive dominance with ten additional goals—seven in the third quarter and three more in the fourth—while preventing any further scoring from Bryn Athyn.
Aidan McFalls was notable for his performance, achieving a game-high of 11 points through four goals and seven assists. Harrison Schlacta also contributed four goals, while AJ Dotson secured three goals and one assist. On defense, Ian Stambaugh made three turnovers happen and Jaydon Hazzard picked up two ground balls. Dax Shallis recorded his second win of the season with seven saves during the first half.
Looking ahead, Penn College will face Lycoming College on Wednesday night at home for their final nonconference game of the season at 7 p.m.
