Peyton Mussina led the Penn College men's golf team to victory in the United East Preview, held at Philmont Country Club North Course in Huntingdon Valley, Pennsylvania. Mussina achieved a score of 75, finishing five over par on the 6,502-yard course and securing first place among 43 competitors.
Penn College posted a total score of 327, claiming the top spot. Trevor Keaton contributed by tying for fourth place with an 81. Gavin Baer tied for tenth with an 85, Will Orwig tied for thirteenth with an 86, and Gunner Redmond tied for seventeenth with an 87. The team's overall score was determined by counting only the top four individual scores.
The Wildcats were followed by Penn State Harrisburg with a score of 339 and Penn State Abington at 340. Lancaster Bible College finished close behind at 342, while other competitors included Penn State Berks (349), Rutgers-Camden (353), Wilson College (375), and Clarks Summit (481). Jake Rotelle from Lancaster Bible College took second place individually with a score of 79.
The next event for Penn College is hosting the D-III Northeast Elite at Williamsport Country Club on Saturday and Sunday.
