Penn College's men's golf team began their season with a strong performance, finishing third out of 12 teams at the Elizabethtown College Fall Invitational. The event took place on Tuesday at Hershey Country Club. Last year, Penn College had finished eighth in the same competition.

Peyton Mussina led the team with a personal best score of 69, tying for second place in a field of 68 players on the George Fazio-designed par 71, 7,115-yard East Course. Trevor Keaton contributed to the team's success with a score of 77, tying for 16th place. Gunner Redmond and Gavin Baer both scored 80, tying for 26th, while Will Orwig shot an 83, placing him tied for 46th. Only the top four scores were counted towards the team's total.

Scranton University won the tournament with a score of 291, followed by Millersville University with a score of 298. Penn College secured third place with their combined score of 306. Other participating teams included Thomas Jefferson University and Eastern University among others. Bo Meakim from Millersville earned medalist honors with his impressive individual score of 65.

Penn College is set to compete next in the Mountain Valley Collegiate Classic at Summit Country Club in Cresson on Saturday and Sinking Valley Country Club in Altoona on Sunday.
