Men’s Track & Field opens PSAC Championships

Lock Haven University Athletics issued the following announcement on May 12.

The Lock Haven University men's outdoor track & field team competed today (Thursday, May 12) at the 2022 Pennsylvania State Athletic Conference (PSAC) Championships. Today's action marked the first of three days of championship competition at host Millersville University.

Nathan Govern (Mechanicsburg, Pa./Cumberland Valley) placed 14th in today's hammer throw event. 

Ethan Rogers (Hershey, Pa./Hershey), Caden Dufrene (Watsontown, Pa./Warrior Run) and Vincent Fennell (Pottstown, Pa./Owen J. Roberts) all represented Lock Haven in the 10,000-meter run. Rogers was the top LHU finisher as he placed 17th with a time of 33:24.28. 

Dufrene ran 34:06.55 (22nd) and Fennell ran 34:24.49 (24th). 

The three-day conference championship meet will continue tomorrow (Friday, May 13) at Millersville University's Biemesderfer Stadium. The meet will wrap up Saturday, May 14 and the full championship schedule is available at GoLHU.com.
