Dear Parent/Guardian,
As Superintendent of The Jersey Shore Area School District, I am proud of the fact that, as a district, we offer families a totally online opportunity. A quality education is important and Jersey Shore is prepared to do that for students in many forms. As we start thinking about the next school year, I want you to think about what a cyber education through The Jersey Shore Area School District could offer your child.
In a previous position, I ran a cyber program that was recognized by the PA Excellence in eLearning Forum as a model cyber program. I am committed to enhancing Jersey Shore Online Leaming (JSOL) to the level of service that my previous students received. While your student is enrolled with us, they will still be participating in the same program that educates many other students in the Jersey Shore Area School District. As a JSOL student, they can participate in all school activities and eventually earn a Jersey Shore School District Diploma. This is a completely online program that uses many of the same coursework as other cyber programs – but your child will still be a Bulldog!
