Three student-athletes from the Penn College women’s soccer team have been named to the United Soccer Coaches 2025 All-Region IV Team, as announced by the organization on Tuesday in Kansas City, Missouri. Senior forward Sara Darlington, sophomore defender Ashley Gordon, and freshman forward Ella Garman were each selected for the Third Team.
Darlington earned her second career All-Region honor after previously being named to the Second Team in 2023. She led Penn College in goals with 21 and points with 49 during a season where the team posted a 15-3-2 record. Darlington also received her third United East All-Conference selection.
Gordon was recognized with her second Third Team selection. She contributed to a defense that allowed only 10 goals throughout the season and maintained a goals-against average of 0.506. Gordon also recorded two goals and eight assists, helping Penn College achieve 12 shutouts.
Garman, who was named United East Rookie of the Year and earned First Team honors within her conference, secured her first All-Region recognition. In her freshman year, she led all freshmen in the conference by scoring 12 goals—ranking fourth overall—and added four assists for a total of 28 points.
