Rep. Jamie Flick and Sen. Gene Yaw have announced that Lycoming County will receive over $1 million in grant funding for three projects. The grants are provided through the Commonwealth Financing Authority's Multimodal Transportation Fund, which supports economic development and transportation safety.

"Safety is a top priority of mine, and this money goes a long way to protecting the well-being of residents," said Rep. Flick. He expressed gratitude for collaborating with Sen. Yaw to secure funding for these essential projects.

Sen. Yaw emphasized the importance of infrastructure improvements: "Maintaining and improving our roads, bridges, and walkways is an essential component of ensuring the safety and mobility of the commuters and pedestrians who travel them each day." He appreciated working with Rep. Flick on these local investments.

The Commonwealth Financing Authority manages state economic stimulus programs, aiming to promote economic growth while maintaining a reliable transportation system in Pennsylvania.
