Penn College wrestlers dominate Keystone with a shutout victory

Penn College's wrestling team achieved a decisive victory against Keystone College, winning 56-0 on Saturday. This win marks the Wildcats' seventh victory in dual competition this season, improving their record to 7-1. Meanwhile, Keystone's record fell to 5-23.

The match took place in Williamsport, Pennsylvania, where Penn College seniors performed strongly on Senior Day, contributing significantly to the team's success in front of a home audience.

During the event, Penn College secured wins in all ten bouts. Notably, Noah Hunt delivered a first-period fall in his debut at 141 pounds this season. Other athletes achieving falls included Anton Esterbrook at 157 pounds, Zach Miller at 174 pounds, and Nicholai Brotzman at 285 pounds. Isaac Cory earned a technical fall at 184 pounds while Nicholas Woodruff won by decision at 197 pounds. Additionally, Santino Micci (125 pounds), CJ Trimber (133 pounds), TJ Martin (149 pounds), and Cullen van Rooyen (165 pounds) each won their matches by forfeit.

Looking ahead, the Wildcats are set to compete next on Sunday at the Rennie Rodarmel Allstate Invitational hosted by Lycoming College.
