Penn College wrestling team achieved a significant victory against Penn State Altoona, winning 54-3 in an Allegheny Mountain Collegiate Conference match. The event took place on Saturday at the PCT Field House in Williamsport, Pennsylvania. This win marks the Wildcats' first dual meet victory of the season, setting their record at 1-0 in both AMCC and overall dual meets. Meanwhile, the Nittany Lions are now 0-1.

The Wildcats dominated the match by securing victories in nine out of ten bouts. Their success included six falls and three forfeits. This performance also gave Dalton Rohrbaugh his first career dual meet win as head coach.

Five of the six pins by the Wildcats were achieved in the first period. Justin Adams (125), Isaac McGregor (141), TJ Martin (149), Isaac Cory (184), and Nicholai Brotzman (285) quickly defeated their opponents. Cavin Napoletano contributed with a second-period fall, completing his match in 3:35.

Looking ahead, Penn College is set to host the PCT Invite next Saturday at Bardo Gymnasium starting at 10 a.m.
