Tyler Mensch Head Men's Soccer Coach | Penn College Wildcats

Penn College's men's soccer team achieved a decisive 7-1 victory over Gallaudet in a United East conference match. The game, held in Williamsport, Pennsylvania, saw the Wildcats enhance their record to 2-1 in the United East and 7-4-1 overall. Meanwhile, the Bison dropped to 1-1 in the conference and 2-8 overall.

The Wildcats established a strong lead early on. Logan Stapleton opened the scoring in the 11th minute. Jimmy Friedman added another goal in the 31st minute with assistance from Tommy DeGeyter. Dakoda Buzzy scored just before halftime at the 42nd minute mark.

After halftime, Penn College continued their offensive push. Stapleton assisted DeGeyter for a goal in the 52nd minute. Mason Kostick scored shortly after, capitalizing on a pass from Scott Goldfelter to extend the lead to five goals. DeGeyter later assisted Goldfelter for another goal in the 56th minute. Alex Heiser concluded Penn College's scoring with a goal from Angelo Gudonis' pass in the 76th minute.

In terms of gameplay statistics, Penn College dominated by outshooting Gallaudet with an impressive margin of 29-2 shots (15-1 on target) and leading corner kicks by 13-4.

Goalkeepers Cole Catherman and Justin Potts shared duties defending Penn College's net during this match.

Penn College is set to play its next game against Notre Dame of Maryland on Saturday at 3:30 p.m.
