Rep. Jamie Flick (R-Lycoming/Union) will be hosting a seminar to provide information about grants available through the state Department of Conservation and Natural Resources (DCNR). The seminar will take place on Wednesday, Dec. 20, from 10 a.m. to noon at New Trail Brewing Company in Williamsport.

According to Flick, the seminar is a valuable opportunity for individuals and community organizations to learn about the grant resources that DCNR may provide for the 83rd District. Flick stated, "We share a beautiful community, and it is important to think of what it will need in the future to remain beautiful and accessible to our residents and visitors."

The keynote speaker for the seminar will be Wes Fahringer, a Recreation and Parks Advisor from the Bureau of Recreation and Conservation, Northcentral Region. Fahringer will provide insights and expertise on the available grants and how they can be utilized to benefit the community.
