PSAC Women’s Tennis Athletes of the Week – 3

Lock Haven University of Pennsylvania issued the following announcement on Mar. 15.

 The Pennsylvania State Athletic Conference office announced this week’s women’s tennis athletes of the week. In the PSAC East, Jenna Sluymer of Shippensburg University was selected, and from the PSAC West, Teddi Isherwood of Slippery Rock University earned honors.

 

EAST

Nieuw-Vennep, The Netherlands / Haarlemmermeer Lyceum, Hoofddorp

 

Jenna Sluymer picked up a singles and a doubles win this week. Against Seton Hill, she won the No.1 singles match 7-5, 5-7, 10-7. Sluymer teamed up with Jazmin Petrantonio at the No. 2 doubles spot and they won 7-5 against the University of South Florida.

WEST

 

Slippery Rock

Teddi Isherwood

Freshman

Wexford, Pa. / Butler

 

Teddi Isherwood won her No. 5 singles and No. 2 doubles matches against No. 16 Newberry College this week. She defeated her opponent 6-1, 6-3 in singles. Isherwood paired up with Gabriella del Val del Toro for doubles and they won 6-0.
