Lycoming Valley Middle School issued the following announcement on Sept. 29.
Williamsport Area School District named Dustin Brouse as its new Supervisor of Instructional Technology.
Brouse, an 11-year employee of the district, comes to the newly created position most recently from serving as the district’s Instructional Technology Specialist.
He started his career at WASD in 2010 as a technology education teacher at what was then Curtin Middle School before transferring in 2012 to teach social studies at the former Lycoming Valley Middle School. After the district’s grade reconfiguration in 2013, Brouse continued teaching social studies at Williamsport Area Middle School before becoming the school’s STEM lab instructor in 2018. He worked in that role until he took on his latest post at the start of this calendar year.
A western Pennsylvania native, Brouse earned his Bachelor of Science in Social Studies from Lock Haven University and his Master of Education in Technology Education and K-12 principal certification from California University of Pennsylvania.
