Pennsylvania State Athletic Conference issued the following announcement on Oct. 6.
The Pennsylvania State Athletic Conference announced this week’s men’s and women’s golf athletes of the week. Ryan Peters of Mercyhurst University captured the men’s honor, and Alexandra Lowder of West Chester University earned women’s honors.

Ryan Peters earned medalist honors in a playoff at the Hal Hansen Invitational tournament. He finished with a two-round score of 142. Peters helped Mercyhurst to a first-place finish against a field made-up of several PSAC opponents.
WOMEN
West Chester University
Alexandra Lowder
Senior
Wrightsville, Pa. / Eastern York
Alexandra Lowder shot a season low 75 in the first round of the Kutztown Fall Invitational tournament and posted a combined score of 159 to earn medalist honors. She helped West Chester to a second-place overall finish. Lowder also competed at the Alvernia Fall Invitational and shot an 85.
