A joint hearing by the Environmental Resources and Energy Committee and the Consumer Protection and Professional Licensure Committee is scheduled for May 12, 2025. The session will begin at 11 a.m. in Room 8E-B, East Wing.

The hearing will open with comments from several senators: Senator Yaw, Senator Comitta, Senator Stefano, and Senator Boscola.

Two panels are set to discuss PJM Reliability Resource Initiative Planning and Generation Market Updates. The first panel includes Jason Stanek, Executive Director of Government Services at PJM; Steve DeFrank, Chairman of the Pennsylvania Public Utility Commission; and Glen Thomas from GT Power Group.

The second panel will feature Corey Hessen, CEO of Homer City Redevelopment; Adrien Ford, Wholesale Markets Development Director at Constellation; and Dale Lebsack, Chief Fossil Officer at Talen.

The hearing will conclude with closing remarks before adjournment.
