The University of Pennsylvania men’s basketball team is set to conclude its home schedule for the 2024-25 season with games against Dartmouth and Harvard this weekend. The Quakers will face Dartmouth on Friday night, followed by a match against Harvard on Saturday evening at The Palestra. This marks the first time since 2020 that Penn hosts both teams in the same weekend.

Before Saturday’s game, the program will honor its three graduating seniors: Reese McMullen, George Smith, and Nick Spinoso. The ceremony is scheduled to begin at 5:40 p.m.

Penn currently holds a record of 6-16 overall and 2-7 in Ivy League play. Dartmouth comes into Friday’s game with a record of 12-10 overall and 6-3 in conference play. On Saturday, Penn will face Harvard, which has a record of 9-13 overall and 4-5 in Ivy League games.

Quakers head coach Steve Donahue has had success against both opponents at home during his tenure. He holds a record of 7-1 against Dartmouth and 6-2 against Harvard at The Palestra.

Penn leads the all-time series against Dartmouth with a record of 160 wins to 66 losses. In their previous meeting this season, Dartmouth won narrowly by three points. Against Harvard, Penn leads the series with 139 wins to 48 losses. Earlier this year, Penn defeated Harvard by fifteen points in Cambridge.

Fans can watch both games on ESPN+, while audio coverage will be available through the Quaker Audio Network with Matt Leon providing play-by-play commentary alongside analyst Brad Fadem.

Sophomore Augustus Gerhart has been notable for his rebounding efforts this season, while junior Ethan Roberts continues an impressive scoring streak in Ivy League play. Senior George Smith is expected to reach his milestone of playing his hundredth game for Penn on Friday night.
