Penn College women’s soccer draws with Mount Aloysius in scoreless match

Penn College women’s soccer team played Mount Aloysius to a 0-0 draw in a nonconference match on Wednesday evening in Cresson, Pennsylvania. The result moves the Wildcats’ record to 2-0-1 for the season, while Mount Aloysius falls to 0-1-2.

Taylor Brownback recorded her third consecutive clean sheet as goalkeeper, stopping two shots from Mount Aloysius. Megan Kurian and Sara Darlington each had four shots on goal for Penn College, but neither team was able to score during the 90 minutes of regulation play.

The Wildcats took a total of 17 shots, with 12 on target, and earned seven corner kicks. Mount Aloysius managed three shots and two corners.

Penn College will continue its road schedule with a game at Elmira on Saturday at noon.
