This outcome brought Penn College’s conference record to 3-4 and an overall standing of 4-9. Meanwhile, St. Mary’s advanced their record to 6-1 in the United East and 10-5 overall.
In the match details, St. Mary’s secured victories in five out of six singles matches and swept all three doubles matches against their opponent. The sole point for Penn College came from Matt Williams, who triumphed in a tight No. 6 singles match, winning 7-6, 4-6, and a 10-8 tiebreaker.
