The Penn College men’s tennis team ended its season on April 30 after a 4-0 defeat against St. Mary’s (Md.) College in the United East Conference semifinals. The match, held in St. Mary’s City, Maryland, marked the conclusion of what was described as the winningest season in program history for Penn College.
The result is significant as it closes an 8-7 overall record for Penn College, while St. Mary’s advances to the championship with a 10-6 record. The match saw St. Mary’s secure three singles and two doubles victories to clinch their place in the final.
