Penn College lost to Lancaster Bible in a United East Conference women’s volleyball match on Saturday at Bardo Gym. The match ended in three straight sets for the Chargers, with scores of 25-10, 25-13, and 25-17. This result puts Penn College at 1-3 in conference play and 4-17 overall. Lancaster Bible improved its record to 5-1 in the conference and 10-9 overall.

Lancaster Bible had a hitting percentage of .321 during the match. For Penn College, Ellen Banfill led with three service aces and also recorded a team-high of 11 assists. Nashalie Vializ contributed 11 digs, while Lilly Stockum added nine kills.

The Wildcats will continue their season on the road with a three-match stretch beginning at Penn State Abington on Tuesday at 7 p.m.
