Penn College defeated Cairn University, 25-8, in a United East men’s lacrosse game on April 18. The Wildcats improved their conference record to 1-1 and overall record to 12-4, while the Highlanders dropped to 0-3 in the conference and 2-8 overall.

Penn College led after each quarter, with a score of 5-2 after the first and extending their lead to 13-2 by halftime. In the third quarter, they outscored Cairn University by four goals and finished strong with six more goals in the final period.
Roman DeCenzo led Penn College with five goals. Elliott Dotson and Owen Kupsey also contributed multiple goals each. AJ Dotson scored twice, including his career’s hundredth goal. Both Dotson brothers recorded four assists apiece; Gavin Selchert had three assists; Tyler Diffenderfer and Chase Kaplan each provided two assists. Alex Hammond made four saves as goalkeeper for his first win of the season.
