This win ensures the Wildcats a spot in the championship game for the second year in a row, with their record standing at 14-4. Bryn Athyn concluded their season with a record of 3-8.
Describing the game, it was noted that “Penn College led 11-0 at the half,” spurred by Owen Kupsey’s hat trick in the first quarter. Elliot Dotson added two goals, and Corbin Moore scored once, leading to a 6-0 advantage early in the game. Kupsey and AJ Dotson expanded the lead to 8-0, followed by three more goals from Elliot Dotson, resulting in a strong halftime position for the team.
The Wildcats continued to dominate, scoring three goals in the third quarter and five in the fourth, securing their place in the final.
Elliot Dotson emerged as a key player, leading with “seven points on five goals and two assists.” Kupsey added four goals, with AJ Dotson contributing five assists. Jake Small, Nick McGowan, and Kyle Kievit each added three points to the team’s tally.
The Wildcats will face top-seeded St. Mary’s on Saturday at 4 p.m. with hopes of claiming the United East Conference trophy for the first time in the school’s history.
