On Wednesday, Feb. 26, former Loyalsock Township Senior High School standout Nick Barone’s current college team, the Liberty Flames, won 12-4 in their NCAA Division I baseball game against the Duke Blue Devils.

The game took place at Durham Bulls Athletic Park. This was their first matchup against the Blue Devils this season.

The Flames’ next game is scheduled for Friday, Feb. 28 at 4 p.m. at Bill Brooks Field against UNC Wilmington Seahawks.
